In this bundle, I put together supplements that have been studied specifically for headaches and migraine so you can get relief with less medications.

How Butterbur Works

Butterbur extract, is made from the leaves and roots of the butterbur plant, may help reduce the frequency of migraine attacks. That's because it contains a family of compounds called petasins, which have anti-inflammatory, anti-spasm, and blood vessel-widening properties

How CoQ10 Works

CoQ10 functions as an essential part of mitochondrial function and assist in the production of cellular energy. Children and women of childbearing age who experience migraines,  have been found to be deficient in CoQ10. Adequate supplementation with CoQ10 resulted in decrease frequency and severity of migraine headaches

How Magnesium Glycinate Works

Experts think magnesium may help prevent the wave of brain signaling, called a cortical spreading depression, that is thought to cause migraine. It lessens muscle tension, promotes central nervous system relaxation and it can also reduce pain during an attack by blocking pain-transmitting chemicals in the brain.  Magnesium glycinate is my go to for headaches because it is absorbed by the body as opposed to Magnesium Citrate which is poorly absorbed and pooped out.  Since part of magnesium glycinate is the amino acid glycine, we may get some benefit there as well. Glycine may bring about a calming effect on our brain and help with sleep or in calming down dizziness in those with vestibular migraine.
